Denise Reid has worked in finance for the last 35 years. She spent sixteen years with CIBC as an Account Manager before working for 19 years as a Certified Financial Planner with Investia Financial Services.

Denise has always believed that the needs of her clients are first and foremost. She greatly values the opportunities provided to her by her diverse range of clients, as well as the variety that comes from looking at the priorities, needs and wants of each individual customer.

Tailoring the investment profile of each customer to suit their needs throughout their changing lives.
Making sure to oversee and monitor the portfolio of each client on an ongoing basis, with a special focus on making contact at strategic moments during the year to ensure RRSPs, RESPs and TFSA’s are the focus at appropriate times.
Sending regular emails to customers during turbulent market times to ensure that financial planning goals are being met.
Making herself available to clients so that they can access her remotely (via email, phone calls, or text messages) or in person, when applicable, to meet the availability that best suits her customers.
Researching and staying in touch with daily webinars by mutual fund managers to ensure that the funds which are proving to be opportunistic buys are made available to clients and purchased at appropriate times; as recommended by industry and mutual funds leaders.
Completing annual courses to keep on top of the demands of the changing financial industry.

Denise truly does want to do the best for her client’s portfolios, as the above points are only a few examples of the way that she goes about her daily and weekly career to ensure that “the customer’s finances always come first,” as Denise always says.
